New York AI Group® and Solarion AI Systems™ Begin Early Research & Development of Compute Passport Network™ Technology

Joint initiative will explore the research and development of network infrastructure built around Compute Passport™ identity technology for AI agents.

NEW YORK and TORONTO — August 1, 2026 — New York AI Group® and Solarion AI Systems™ today announced the beginning of early research and development of Compute Passport Network™, an emerging technology concept designed to explore identity, trust, accountability, and auditable interaction among artificial intelligence agents operating across enterprise environments.

New York AI Group® operates through New York AI Group LLC, while Solarion AI Systems™ operates through Solarion AI Inc., based in Toronto, Canada.

The initiative builds on Compute Passport™ technology, which is being developed as identity and accountability infrastructure for AI agents. Compute Passport Network™ will explore how persistent agent identities could operate across a broader trusted environment in which AI agents, organizations, and enterprise systems can recognize, authenticate, and interact with one another.

Extending Compute Passport™ technology

As organizations deploy increasingly autonomous AI agents, establishing persistent and verifiable identity is becoming an important enterprise infrastructure requirement.

Traditional identity systems were primarily designed around people, devices, applications, and software services. Agentic AI introduces a new category of digital actor capable of accessing enterprise systems, initiating processes, communicating with other agents, and performing increasingly complex activities on behalf of organizations.

The early research and development program for Compute Passport Network™ will examine how Compute Passport™ identity technology could provide a foundation for trusted interaction across these environments.

Persistent AI agent identity. Developing approaches for assigning durable identities to AI agents across applications and enterprise environments.

Agent authentication and verification. Exploring how organizations, platforms, and other agents could verify the identity and organizational context of an AI agent.

Access governance. Examining how authorization, permissions, and enterprise policies could remain associated with an agent throughout its operational lifecycle.

Agent-to-agent interaction. Researching trusted mechanisms through which identified agents could communicate and transact while maintaining organizational accountability.

Activity records and auditability. Exploring how actions could be associated with persistent identity to support traceability, reporting, investigations, and enterprise oversight.

Enterprise interoperability. Examining how Compute Passport™ technology could integrate with existing identity, security, governance, and enterprise technology infrastructure.

From agent identity to network trust

Compute Passport™ technology is being developed around a foundational enterprise requirement: organizations need to understand which AI agent is operating, what it is authorized to do, and what actions it has taken.

Compute Passport Network™ expands that concept by examining how identified AI agents could interact across systems, platforms, and organizational boundaries.

The initiative will explore whether identity, authorization, and accountability can remain associated with an AI agent as it moves between different operational environments.

“AI agents are beginning to operate less like individual software features and more like participants within enterprise systems. As those agents increasingly interact across platforms and organizations, persistent identity and verifiable trust could become foundational infrastructure for the agentic enterprise.”

Osman Khan, Managing Partner, New York AI Group®

Building infrastructure for agentic AI

The initiative reflects the broader transition toward agentic computing.

AI systems are increasingly capable of planning, executing workflows, interacting with other systems, and taking actions with varying levels of autonomy. As these capabilities expand, organizations may require identity infrastructure that goes beyond traditional authentication.

Future enterprise environments could include large numbers of AI agents representing organizations, departments, applications, and individual users.

Without persistent identity and governance, organizations may face difficulty establishing an agent’s origin, authority, permissions, and historical activity.

“Identity becomes increasingly important as artificial intelligence moves from generating information to taking action. Compute Passport™ technology is being developed around persistent identity and accountability for AI agents. Compute Passport Network™ extends that work by exploring how trusted agent identities could interact across a broader enterprise ecosystem.”

Ian Dela Cruz, CEO, Solarion AI Systems™

Early research and development

Compute Passport Network™ remains in an early research and development stage.

New York AI Group® and Solarion AI Systems™ will initially focus on architecture, enterprise requirements, technical experimentation, and potential interoperability models.

Areas of research and development may include AI agent identity architecture, agent identity standards, authentication and verification, authorization and delegation, agent-to-agent trust, identity portability, organizational ownership, lifecycle and revocation management, auditable activity records, enterprise identity integration, cross-platform interoperability, and governance and security controls.

The initiative may also explore future collaboration with enterprises, technology companies, researchers, and other organizations interested in developing identity infrastructure for agentic AI.

No commercially available Compute Passport Network™ product or production network is being announced at this stage.

About Compute Passport™

Compute Passport™ is an emerging identity and accountability technology being developed for AI agents operating across enterprise environments. The concept is focused on providing persistent identity, access governance, activity tracking, auditability, and reporting capabilities that can help organizations understand which AI agents are operating, what they are authorized to access, and what actions they have taken.

Compute Passport™ is intended to explore how identity infrastructure can support increasingly autonomous AI systems while integrating with existing enterprise security, governance, and technology controls.
